ABOUT ARROW
ARROW is an online workflow system used at the University of Wisconsin - Madison to review
and track applications for research oversight pertaining to: human and animals subjects, stem
cell research and biological safety.
The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education and its software development
team in partnership with research compliance offices across UW-Madison.
- First launched in March 2010
- Approximately 7500 users each year
- Over 5,500 active studies tracked
- 12,000 submissions (initial applications, changes, etc.) processed each year
